It’s an easy place to relax and enjoy some classic cooking that benefits from a real passion for the best of local produce and a commitment to seasonality. The style is ambitious and exciting but satisfying too, a starter of Home Smoked Duck Breast served with balsamic glazed Rhydyfelin strawberries is typical of the style as is a main course of panfried Fillets of Welsh Sea Bass served with a chorizo croquette, garlic sautéed potatoes, and a samphire, tomato, shallot, fresh basil, and olive oil salsa.
The quality of the ingredients is allowed to shine through whether that’s a sirloin steak form native Welsh Black cattle or delicious Yswyth Valley lamb.
