This pair of stylish new venues is within the same stable and situated just a few yards apart in the middle of Aberystwyth.
The Orangery offers a great place to meet with a bright easygoing atmosphere and a menu to match. Here, the range can take you from tapas and pizzas to specials such as soups, steaks or pasta dishes. Good selection of wines available by the glass, including champagne to add some fizz to an occasion, also a classic cocktail list. The interior has a contemporary feel and there is also a secluded courtyard area – jazz evenings are a regular attraction.
Le Vignoble offers a more formal and intimate experience with a menu based on French classics such as duck ham hock and wild mushroom terrine, salmon rillette, or braised pork belly with shallot mash and curly kale. An extensive wine list offers a good selection of quality bins at reasonable prices.
