Waste cooking oil is used to make fuel and local wool is put to work as insulation, keeping energy use down while ensuring the place is always cosy. They even have a hive of bees to produce their own honey. You can also use their tandem bikes for exploring the vast wild reaches of this tranquil area, so you can keep out of the car and have fun at the same time.
