Blessed with a fabulous location beneath the majestic Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Culinary Cottage is well placed for forays into landscapes that are famous the world over for their beauty.

It is close to the market town of Abergavenny, which hosts the internationally renowned food festival each September, enhancing the reputation the area has achieved as a centre for gourmet excellence.

The 150-year-old cottage has been sympathetically restored. The accommodation, which has been rated as four star, is decorated and equipped to the highest standard with en suite bedrooms and a comfortable lounge ideal for relaxing in after a busy day exploring all the facilities the area has to offer, not least the wonderful scenic walks that are on the doorstep. You can also book yourself an inspirational cookery course while your partner checks out one of the other recreational activities readily available.
