In Elizabethan times Bach Y Graig was a farm in the middle of a vast area of unspoilt woodlands that had been preserved for the entertainment of royal hunting parties. At first sight not a lot has changed since then. The pretty farm buildings, the oldest brick houses in Wales, are still there, as is the broad expanse of virgin oak forest, inhabited by many rare creatures and beautiful wildflowers. The location and history make this place so special.

The 16th century farmhouse provides B&B serviced accommodation and a self-contained wing for the more independent visitor. Although centuries old you'll soon see that time hasn't stood still here in anyway. Though much of the original fittings have been lovingly maintained, this is complemented by modern comforts from quality bedding, TVs in each room and fully fitted kitchen for self-catering. You can also enjoy more traditional pleasures such as a roaring log fire for the ultimate in luxurious cosiness.
