The little seaside settlement of Nefyn with its unspoilt seafront and sandy beaches is one of the most beautiful in Wales. Perched above it on the hillside with peerless views over the village to the sea and Anglesey beyond, Tai Ffolt is the result of a painstaking renovation of three cottages that now form an exceptional and highly individual holiday home. It’s the kind of place that is so much more than just somewhere to stay while you’re in the area – in winter or summer the magnificent views are a delight whether enjoyed from the terrace (the building is set in two acres that includes a stone built seating area) or the warmth of the sitting room with its stunning picture window.
The renovation has been undertaken with obvious care and a great deal of flair. The sitting room with its comfy sofas and chairs, wall mounted telly with Sky, and DVD player, features oak beams and a lovely wood burning stove. The kitchen features the original quarry tile floor, farmhouse dining table and is excellently equipped with top quality modern conveniences – a great place to gather the family together for a relaxing meal. All three bedrooms (two doubles, one twin) enjoy magnificent views and are appointed with an eye for comfort and luxury.
Should you manage to drag yourself away from the cottage, the local beaches are sandy and the sea wonderfully clear and clean. The nooks and crannies of the Lleyn Peninsula are all around you, Snowdonia is a relatively short drive away and Anglesey is just over the water.
