Fantastic, this is luxury at its best. Not what you would expect in Dolgellau, but the town is becoming quite hip these days. Ffynon was a bit difficult to find, but that was more to do with my driving I think. Went round the one way system about three times before a local person actually told me to follow him on foot – very friendly, you won’t get that in London I thought. Anyway, once I got there, Debra the owner was lovely, couldn’t believe the attention to detail that she had paid to every room in the house, it’s absolutely stunning and everything without exception is of the highest quality. A great place to stay, and Dolgellau itself was a very pleasant surprise, has an almost eerie quality about it. Walked the mountain Cader Idris from here – unmissable!.
