Named after the daughter of one of its previous owners, Gentle Jane is a grade II listed building in the ancient Monmouthshire village of Grosmont on the border with England.  Though it boasts all modern facilities, Gentle Jane retains its considerable original charm.  You might find it novel that boreholes at the front of the house supply ground source heat  to the underfloor heating system that permits an uncluttered, radiator-free interior.  It might not surprise you that the owners, Linda and Witek are keen environmentalists and their business has a Green Dragon award as a testimony to its green credentials.

All of Gentle Jane's three double bedrooms are located on the first floor and have en suite bathrooms.  They make a great base from which to tour, walk and cycle.
