If you want some truly authentic Welsh traditional jewellery, then you need to head to the historic market town of Tregaron in rural Ceredigion. There, in the Celtic Design Centre, you’ll find the Rhiannon Welsh Gold Centre, complete with work areas and shop. Rhiannon Evans is an award-winning jewellery designer with an international reputation for her beautiful designs.
Over the last 25 years she has been commissioned by royalty, archbishops, celebrities, governments, and even for Welsh national stamps. Rhiannon works in pure and mixed Welsh gold, having a long and close relationship with this special metal. All of her work is still designed and made in her own workshop. You can even visit it to see the designs being handcrafted from start to finish.
