Not so many manufacturing businesses founded in the mid-19th century are still around today, but through its ability to adapt Inigo Jones is still a thriving business based on the unique qualities of north Wales slate.

Originally the company produced school writing plates until these were usurped by paper. Today they offer a wide range of slate gifts, garden items, nameplates and jewellery which can also be purchased via their online shop.

The popular, self-guided tour of the works is both educational and fun. A video presentation is followed by a tour through the workshops with a personal taped commentary. Tours are available from 9am- 5pm daily except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
